Applications are now live for our Opportunity to Work and Learn (O.W.L.) program. Our O.W.L. program offers two pathways for students seeking real-world experience in biotech and medical technology: Internship Program – Project-based positions for undergraduate and graduate students in technical roles that align with your major. Assistantship Program – High school through sophomore year college students can participate in our train-to-work program in manufacturing. No degree-specific training required.
Behind every cancer test is someone waiting for an answer that will change their life. That's why the work happening in labs matters so much, and why we're grateful to support the people doing it. On World Cancer Day, we're thinking about everyone in this fight: the patients, the families and the professionals dedicated to better outcomes. Change is possible when we act together. hashtag#WorldCancerDay
This time of year reminds us how fortunate we are to work alongside such an exceptional community of customers and partners. Thank you for your trust and collaboration. We wish you a wonderful holiday season and a prosperous 2026.
McKenna came to our Opportunity to Work and Learn (O.W.L.) program with questions about her future in chemistry and biology. She left with answers and a clear career direction: "The summer R&D internship was one of the best educational experiences I have had to gain insight on how chemistry and biology could be applied as a career. I highly recommend it for anyone who is questioning whether or not they want a career in industry." This is why we created the O.W.L. program: to give students real exposure to industry applications and help them make informed career decisions. Explore our O.W.L. program at https://bit.ly/4iLUiib
This Giving Tuesday, we're reflecting on the ways our team gives back. Service to our community is part of who we are. Through our Volunteer Time Off (VTO) program, our employees dedicate their time to local organizations, like Food Bank for the Heartland and Habitat for Humanity of Omaha, that ensure our neighbors have access to food, shelter and support. To all who are giving back today: thank you for making a difference in your communities.
Those who live in freedom will always be grateful to those who helped preserve it. Happy Veterans Day to the veterans in our community and beyond - we owe you a debt of gratitude.
Building professional skills starts with finding the right environment to grow. Our Opportunity to Work and Learn (OWL) internships are designed to provide students with meaningful experiences that prepare them for the future. Liam Werner, a 2025 Student Intern in Supply Chain, found that Streck was instrumental in his growth. He shared: "Streck has been a welcoming and educational place to work. I really enjoyed my time here because of the workplace relationships that I developed and all of the information that I learned throughout my internship. I have nothing but amazing things to say about this company and I appreciate the role that everyone had in my professional growth."
What made summer 2025 so special at Streck? Our Opportunity to Work and Learn (OWL) interns! They jumped into projects, collaborated with our teams and gained hands-on experience that will serve them well in their future careers. Here’s what Tobi Topp, Student Assistant in RBC, had to say about her time with us: "I absolutely loved my summer interning as the RBC summer assistant. I learned technical lab skills and aseptic safety techniques that will give me a foundation to excel in my classes heading into my senior year of college and future career. Working in RBC was a wonderful experience, as my supervisors and coworkers made a safe environment for me to learn and grow as a student, employee and person!"
Our team shows up in color for causes that matter. From pink to support Breast Cancer Awareness to purple for Domestic Violence Awareness, we stand with survivors, raise awareness and celebrate the strength of the communities that inspire us everyday.
