Transcarent, the One Place for Health and Care™, today released their latest research commissioned from SurveyMonkey, "AI That Delivers: HR Leaders on Health, Trust, and Better Benefits." The study explores how Human Resources (HR) leaders are approaching artificial intelligence (AI), what excites them about its potential, and where they face the biggest challenges as they work to meet their employees’ health and benefits needs.
We take our position as a leader in healthcare AI very seriously at Transcarent. While we’re proud to lead in this area – and know our work has set a strong foundation – we also believe that initiatives like this should be table stakes for any organization that embraces the risk and potential of AI. This technology is a powerful tool that will profoundly change many industries, including healthcare. We must harness that power for responsible change and innovation. We call on all companies that are incorporating AI into their business models to do so in a responsible way. For business, especially those in healthcare, AI must be more than a talking point or an add-on to existing models. This technology must be adopted and governed to always prioritize the safety, trust, and equality of the people who use it.
Margaret Mead, the famous social anthropologist, said, “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has.” That’s what I was watching happen! HR and benefits leaders are uniquely positioned to transform the health and care of their employees and their families. With more than half of Americans depending on their employers for their health and care, HR teams have the opportunity to be the superheroes who offer life-changing and sometimes life-saving solutions for hardworking families.

We’re grateful for people who are inspired to change the world for the better, especially in healthcare. This month, we're celebrating Black Healthcare Changemakers and are excited to put a spotlight on Dr. Rebecca Lee Crumpler, a pioneering doctor who broke racial and gender barriers. Dr. Crumpler is recognized as the first Black woman physician in the U.S., earning her M.D. in 1864. An early public health advocate, she focused on caring for freed slaves and was passionate about treating women and children with an emphasis on preventive medicine. “It is a small group of leaders, of people who care, of people who will put the work in, of people who will take the risk, who change everything. I believe that group is here, and that group is you!” Our CEO Glen Tullman paints a picture of the new level of energy, commitment, and willingness to change the status quo he saw from benefits leaders at our inaugural Voyages by Transcarent. Benefits leaders are uniquely positioned to transform the health and lives of people and are increasingly realizing that they have more power than ever before. The time to take action is now. The technology is ready. The market is ready. We're ready to help more benefits leaders lead the way to better health and care for all, and we promise to do this by spreading the momentum, insight, and passion generated at Voyages! The groundswell is happening. Watch the video, read Glen's reflections, and stay tuned for more!
Now it is possible. Ultimately, we are all on this journey together. Our north star is clear: make it easy for employees and their families to live their healthiest lives. Our COO Snezana Mahon, Pharm.D. grounded us all in this purpose as she closed out Voyages by Transcarent with a collective look at the State of the Healthcare Industry. Thank you to the changemaking benefit leaders and industry experts who joined us for this immersive few days of inspiration to finally transform the status quo. Let's do this!
