What is working from home like at Air Liquide?

      Pros

It’s a good company to start working, tou will have visibility for different kind of market, since you work with other countries you will have a good schedule, good personal life and work balance, flexibility to go out duo to medical appointments, work from home 4 days a week, good environment,

      Cons

The salary increase are rare they say that they don’t have enough budget, they can change the home oficie working days, not transparent enough, salary it’s not competitive, a lot of rumors in the office

      Severe organizational dysfunction

      Business outlook

      Pros

The salary and benefits package are genuinely good, and I enjoyed the flexible working arrangements they offer. The office facilities are nice and well-maintained. You can have a lot of freedom in your role because honestly, no one knows what they are doing, let alone what you are doing. There's job security that comes with working for such a large, established company.

      Cons

This is the most chaotic company I have ever worked for. Air Liquide is absolutely huge and no one knows who is responsible for what or what others are doing. If you need information, you will go through a chain of at least 5 people and still might not find the answers you're looking for. They have an internal system for everything with minimal human contact. I was once given a login to one of these systems but no one could tell me where I should actually log in to use it. The office environment is very hostile despite the nice facilities. Don't leave anything on your desk because it will disappear. People constantly come and go - you barely get to know anyone in the office because of the extremely high turnover. While I worked there for years, this is my least favorite company out of all that I have worked for. I have never felt more isolated in a workplace. The organizational dysfunction makes every day frustrating, and the financial compensation doesn't make up for the daily struggle of trying to get basic work done in such a disorganized system.

      Not for everyone

      Dispatch planner
      Former employee

      Business outlook

      Pros

      - work from home - helpful colleagues - big building - good salary

      Cons

      - absolutely no work life balance - buddy system is a failure - management who don't know the job - at this job you will sometimes work until midnight trying to find a solution to your mistakes. - grumpy and mean colleagues which leads to a very masculine environment. You won't fit if you're a naturally enthusiastic, social, and nice person. From HR to your team, it'll be like that. HR is not there for you btw. - cold work environment - on call , rotation weekend work - no team feeling. You gotta look after yourself. Find a company in which you won't be just a number but one with a warm and open culture. I was so overworked the doctor put me on leave because I was burnt out. Don't apply there unless you appreciate just working, being left alone, and a particularly cold and masculine environment.
