Good job with great benefits, but watch out if you do something the company does not approve of
Pros
Being an AA F/A was both the hardest and easiest job I've had. Hard in that it's physically and emotionally exhausting. Easy in that you often get layovers in awesome places. And sometimes working a flight can be easy--you serve food, do your safety checks, and you usually have a lot of time on the plane to talk to your coworkers and other customers.
Cons
Not a lot of quiet time. Exhaustion. Drug testing, company can be hard on you if you happen to have a supervisor on your flight or you call in sick or miss flights a lot. You also have to look the way they dicatate ("regulation") and wear a rather ugly uniform. Make sure you don't go against company rules, especially attendance, (or at least when they're paying attention to you), or they often harass you.
