Pros

After 5 years you can have 6 weeks of paternity leave Work from home options Free tester hosting account Lots of overtime options

Cons

Raises and wages increase with cost of labor, not cost of living. Average raise in my department for 2021 was $0.50 Regular increase of workload without increase of pay Regular change of responsibilities without increase of pay Have to work around how the system works to get things to work properly Custom rules for nearly every slightly different situation Strongly discouraged against talking about pay When company increased in size 12% and netted 4 BILLION dollars, they slashed the employee bonus by 25% Work regularly increasing and lots of overtime options but there is a hiring freeze

Advice to Management

Let some of that 4 BILLION dollars of profit your employees earned you trickle down the line for decent pay increases that keep up with inflation.

Pros

Management does not micro manage. Great benefits and work from home

Cons

Company is headed in the gutter. They cut employees bonus' and more. Keep cutting and their only concern is shareholders profits. They're moving tons of jobs to India and Asia. They're slowly moving most jobs overseas. CEO is all Talk no action.

Advice to Management

Look for new jobs. You won't be here long

Pros

I just celebrated my 17th year with GoDaddy and love what this company has become. The culture is uber inclusive, innovative, smart and ethical. I enjoy great benefits and feel amply rewarded for my efforts. Unlike other companies, GoDaddy is still offering work from home for employees (they actually offer three options, depending on your job: in the office full-time, in the office a few days a week and at home all the time). Very positive place to work.

Cons

Now that the Tempe cafeteria has started offering breakfast again, I can't think of any cons. Tempe also has charging stations for electric cars - 5 stars!

Pros

Good pay, good equipment for WFH, some flexibility to a certain extent

Cons

As a big company, you're just a number/statistic to them, so don't forget that. The HR is awful as it's all articles and no one to actually speak to. Basically they will pay you a decent wage, but don't expect to be supported alongside that. Opportunities seem extensive, but in reality don't bother

Advice to Management

Drop the insane amount of 'meetings' you have every day to actually help and support your staff, make HR 'Human Resources' and not AI resources, provide better training to staff that's actually relevant and applicable.

Pros

Benefits, work from home, pay is OK.

Cons

Constant calls from customers with complex issues. Poor training making it difficult to solve 1st call resolution. Goals for number of calls taken per-day, NPS, and other requirements, make it difficult to "white glove" in the customer service area.

Advice to Management

Let sales to their job...sell. Let customer service do their job...customer service.

Pros

Company is growing and expanding making it an exciting company to work for with loads of opportunities for developmetn and career progression. Great prospects and management who are inclusive and encouraging. Everyone has time to talk to you and help you. Adapted well to work from home and ensures culture remains open and inclusive even when working remotely and across global timezones

Cons

Occasional late meetings due to timezones - but this is simply a challenge of working for a global company

Pros

If they route sales calls to you, the pay can be alright.

Cons

The KKR boys are robbing the place blind. Every 6 months employees are bombarded with ESPP enrollment reminders. With post-tax contributions upto 15% withholding, non-officers pay the bonuses of senior management who want to outsource their golden geese. All the earnings calls are smoke and mirrors, no growth just cost cutting and price increases. Billions in unsecured debt on the books is causing huge outflows in interest payments. New boss the same as the old boss, hoping to get a $30 million golden parachute for calling in sick. Layers upon layers of unproductive administrative personnel appear looking busy via Zoom, Excel, and Email. Customers are broke, hostile, and entitled. Work from home has prevented any mass collaboration on issues which plays into the slow attrition strategy upper management needs so they can hang on just a few more years longer.

Advice to Management

Cut losses, take it private, and see if Bob is interested in becoming a rehire.

Pros

They pay on time. They provide work from home budget if you need any work related equipment or if you bills has increased due to working from home.

Cons

Not sure how much I can say on here regarding processes of the business however godaddy have 3 main areas which work against godaddy employees getting paid commission. 1 of which is completely outside the control of the godaddy employee. Also when I applied for the job I given information on the job role in the interview and was advised there are no sales targets amongst other things as it was a “Support” role however this is not the case once I had passed training. I thought I was the only one but several others who I’ve spoken to experience the same. In regards to sales targets I’ve never received my sales target at the start of the month and normally you wont receive this until 4 or 5 days into the month, which is fairly strange. Finally if you have hit your targets 11 months in a row and you have 1 bad months on sales then they will put you on a performance plan for 2 months.
