Does Kaiser Permanente have a pension plan?

Pros

Good kaiser benefits and pension, lots of raises.

Cons

Retail health is boring, patients are entitled, LVNs are gossipers. The whole target clinic manager team are lazy, they expect you to find your own coverage even if you ask for a day off way in advance. The strict scheduling of every other weekend is terrible. 5 hours on weekends isn’t even worth me getting out of bed. Make weekend shifts 10 or 8 hours or just keep clinic closed on weekends.

Advice to Management

Do your job and hire more people to cover your team when they need a day off. Make the per diem pick up shifts.

Good kaiser benefits and pension, lots of raises.

Does Kaiser Permanente offer employee discounts?

Pros

Union: -undisrupted lunch and two breaks -increase in salary annually due to cost of living and years of experience - Employee insurance discount with awesome coverage

Cons

-Pharmacist get under paid ( Washington ) compared to other regions ( Oregon, California, etc) - Communication is still a challenge between different departments

Advice to Management

For higher up management, please do not look at just numbers and pressure people below you. You need to see how hard we worked in the pharmacy. You only count # rx come into the pharmacy. How about # of the phone calls or transfer we received and number rx we had to counsel patient on
