The District at Green Valley Ranch location—Poor treatment, low morale, inept management, favoritism

      Pros

Good food, decent employee discount on shift.

      Cons

Poor management, GM feeds you complete fluff upon hiring but doesn’t follow through, they are feet draggers, they hold you back on training stations even if you’re beyond proficient and a fast learner, hence holding employees back on promotions unless you’re a favorite or friend of friend, in which case the GM will rush them through training to promote to a position they’re not proficiently trained for or qualified for. They treat team members with favoritism, most shift managers goof off during shifts, talk in office, dictate not assist during rushes and GM allows this behavior creating low morale and poor work environment. Promotion is a joke even if you are a hard and proficient worker if you are not of the favorites group. Drama. GM is a problem, does nothing to make it a better work environment, just sits in office while everything goes on around him that employees have brought to his attention as issues. And then the GM wonders why people quit and employee morale is low, put in effort, excel, and no return and employees calling off.

      Pros

Employee discounts and experience for learning how to cook.

      Cons

Demanding managers and coworkers who never cut you slack and are unforgiving. The pay rate is only 16 an hour. Working night shift and closing hours leave you exhausted and they still expect you to work the next day. Once you clock out you have no more time for anything else in life. Rinse and repeat.
