      Cons

None that come to mind for me to mention here!

      Pros

Incredible culture. Great hiring process. Solid pay for the role, unlimited upside

      Cons

Working in an international org can cause difficult internal politics to manage

      Pros

I’ve been with UserTesting for over six years, and one of the most rewarding parts of my journey has been the strong relationships I’ve built across teams. The company has gone through a number of changes during my time here—reorgs, new processes, leadership shifts—but I’ve always believed that change brings opportunity, and in our case, it’s been largely for the better. The new leadership team brings fresh energy and perspective, and I’m genuinely excited for what’s ahead in this next chapter.

      Cons

With change comes some uncertainty and adjustment periods, and that can be challenging for some.

So they took me on -- laid me off 1 month before the annual raise and level up -- highest performer in my role -- kept the severely underperforming new hire -- re-opened the position in a different country -- the re-opened same position in my country couple months later -- interviewed me for same role and said no -- then they laid off a bunch of their directors and many other people in the company. -- i basically joined just as the CEO was making his exit and selling company in a merger agreement.

      Cons

i mentioned them in above section

Success is coming, but some people spoil the journey

      Anonymous employee
      Former employee

      Business outlook

      Pros

Great office locations and great sense of ‘in it together’ between most people Good internal systems. We’re all on MacBooks and have good software Pay is good and benefits competitive (at least in the US) Lots of travel opportunity for a lot of us

      Cons

CEO is good but not all the exec team have the same respect, one exec specifically. She has made some big changes which haven’t gone down well. In sales, we have little time for internal support teams but even less with the way some of them are run. CTO and CFO are both leaving at the same time. CFO was great by all accounts and well respected. His departure seems to be a vote against the res of the exec team. There’s often a lot of hiring of friends from the c-suite which has benefits but it’s happened too much and means that some people are so protected they can do whatever they want, morals aside. Some execs have fired their direct reports and hired only people they know so some of my colleagues can’t see progression. Finance is probably the only exception. It’s a company of change. It will be financially successful, but it would be nice to enjoy the journey with a leadership we can trust and support. It’s close but a few people spoil it and people know they will be cut for speaking out.

      Questionable hiring of new employees

      Regional sales director

      Business outlook

      Pros

Software is best in class and has a promising future.

      Cons

New leadership has no idea what they are doing and have hired more new people. It is like the blind leading the blind. Utter chaos. They love to tell those who have been here awhile about what we sell.

      2

Human-first onboarding, thoughtful team, and real impact from day one

      Solutions consultant
      Current employee
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

I recently joined UserTesting and have already been blown away by the culture and clarity here. The onboarding process is thorough, paced well, and actually fun (rare). The emphasis on human insight isn’t just in the product. It’s in the way people collaborate, give feedback, and welcome new team members. If you’re looking for a company that takes customer empathy seriously, empowers you to own your ramp-up, and treats storytelling as a strategic asset, this is it.

      Cons

There have been no cons so far.

      Pros

Enjoyed most all my closer co workers and collaboration. Also built great relationships. Flexible PTO (for salary employees only).

      Cons

After being laid off in a recent round, didn't get my promised help to find a new job until 3 MONTHS after. Leadership isn't transparent and little to no room for growth. they would rather hire someone from outside than within for new positions. Watched people leave my whole time there and should of took that as a sign to leave as well.

      Pros

New leaders in the business have brought a sense of urgency Clearly defined vision and strategy Integration of 2 companies mostly complete but focus needed to cross the finish line

      Cons

Challenging GTM target with reducing budgets Has lost some of the nimbleness of the earlier years while not significantly larger - process heavy
