What is health insurance like at Victoria's Secret?

Pros

Generous pay scale, opportunity to grow into a career, good health insurance and paid time off, taking the company into a more updated realistic culture everyone can relate to.

Cons

HR is clueless, no work family balance, company laid back with loss prevention, as well as customers respecting associates.

Advice to Management

The most important thing to keep in mind is that even though associates are lbrand employees- they are also people. Customers should not be able to speak to them disrespectfully and act however they please. Very disheartening that this company allows this treatment.

Does Victoria's Secret offer parental leave?

Work life balance does not exist. I worked for this company for almost 3 years. I was the top selling associate then promoted to a BOH supervisor. It took me a few months to get the hang of who to run shipment and BOH organization. But it was hard to keep up the organization due to the lack of support you get from fellow management and the laziness of the employees. If the employees fail to do a task right- even after teaching them- it’s still your fault. For a whole year I was told I was doing fantastic and I’ve improved so much! I was given small criticism here and there about small things that were easily fixable/changeable but nothing major. And during Christmas while my coworker was on maternity leave, I was on the sales floor for then the back room and the temp supervisor took over the back room. All my hard work was basically thrown away that season. My BR was destroyed. And im still trying to clean up after it. My coworker is coming back soon so I could of had my BR back. However, I get a yearly review and all the sudden it’s the polar opposite of what I was told all 2019-And I have to either step down or risk termination. All of management had bad reviews and I’m the only one with the 2 options. I feel so let down

Advice to Management

Give truthful criticism. Set up time to sit down and talk to your employees about their performance whether it is good or bad. Don’t give your employees false hope. Give them direct coaching and a direct plan of action. Overall; be genuine and truthful
