The issue was that after issuing a job offer, the organization rescinded it because "Unfortunately, we will not be able to move forward with your hiring. Our HR department informed us that ABCD has a policy that we can only hire people in state, which we were unaware of leading up to your interviews. We apologize for the miscommunication and wish you the best of luck in finding a position moving forward. "
