Interview
I had a recruiter reach out regarding positions in my field. Super basic get to know you/basic experience , she was really kind but I never heard back despite reaching out multiple times over different platforms which was a little disappointing.
Phone screen conducted. Called to schedule interview and asked to fill in gap in employment. (Disclaimer: left off resume bc wasn’t relative to job applied for but I served our country). Shared that information and was never contacted for the interview. I tried multiple times and they said “we are still waiting on the client”.
6 weeks passes and I get an email on a Friday afternoon for a different job. I responded within an hr and get a voicemail but understandable because of late afternoon on a Friday. I call Monday and voicemail. I call Tuesday and recruiter tells me she is sick and will call me upon her return to the office. Nothing for a few days so I called just a bit ago (Friday) and I’m told the job was filled. I inquire into how I go from being contacted about a job and do everything I can to be given this chance and then be dumped. I get apologies and excuses about her not having “notes”. I bring up the prior situation and she claims “she doesn’t have notes” and apologizes. I’m not saying they are anti-service members but actions do speak louder than words.
