I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Aerotek (Burnaby, BC)
Interview
I am going to start by saying they contacted me first and said I would be a good fit for the position.
It was a very uncomfortable experience overall, they phone interview went very smooth, the in person interview was very unprofessional and discriminatory, I was asked how old I was and if I had plans of having children, was also told that they he had no doubt I could get the job done, but he wasn't going to move forward with me because he felt I needed to stay at my current job, and that financially it wouldn't make sense for me to change jobs.
I am till trying to wrap my head around the idea of how unprofessional this experience was, be prepared in case they ask you such questions.
He seem zero engaged in the interview and he mentioned that the hardest part of being a recruiter was "people committing and then not coming back or not showing up" I am not surprised about this, based on what I had to go through.
The HQ recruiter contacted me after and asked me how my in person interview went, and I told her everything that happened, and to this day I haven't heard back from her.

Question 1
how old I was, if I has any children or plans of having children in the future, how much money I wanted to make in 2,3 and 5 years.
The interview process was quick. Lasting around 15 minutes. There are several interviews that you will go through. They will do an initial interview with the director. Then you will get scheduled for a follow up. This is where you meet the other recruiters and account managers. They will walk you around the office and have you shadow some of the recruiters.

What motivates you?
What’s your “why”?
Are you a go-getter?
Average difficulty covering standard interview questions. Phone screen followed by an in-person interview. Phone screen was received quickly after resume submission; in-person was with their head recruiter and then followed by one with their manager.
Phone screening call with the recruiter giving me information about the job, then another virtual call interview more in depth to ask me more questions. The final interview is in person in their office.
