I recently went through the interview process with Airwallex and unfortunately found the experience disappointing. After being scheduled for a recruiter screen, the interviewer did not show up at the agreed time and there was no communication either before or after the missed call. I followed up politely but received no response.
From a candidate’s perspective, this came across as unprofessional and dismissive of the time and effort candidates put into preparing for interviews. It also leaves a negative impression of the company’s culture and candidate experience.
Airwallex is a high-profile fintech with a strong global reputation, so I hope their hiring team takes this feedback seriously and improves their candidate engagement — even a quick reschedule note or acknowledgment would go a long way in creating a respectful process.
