Contacted by a third-party recruiter. Phone interview with a co-worker. Followed by a phone interview with the hiring manager.
Invited for an in-person interview with senior management team. This was a half-day interview with both experience related questions as well as behavioral.

They were very specific about conflict management. Given the position, I was being considered for its a relationship management/building role so the questions were appropriate.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Akamai in Oct 2025
Interview
It was a very long interview process that started with a recommendation in September. They took 4 weeks between first approach to first interview with the hiring manager, the interview was long and successful.Then 3 weeks for an interview with a “peer” after that silence which was Ok.My last interaction was on dec 5 when I asked the recruiter for an update via text message…and nothing! Finally on Dec 25 I received a generic rejection email.

Interview
The whole recruitment process was amazing and different from other companies.
The attention to details from the HR was great.
A lot of discussions and interview and at the end a marathon panel :)
