Interview
All my interviewers were super cool and allowed me enough time to express myself. In the end, they were happy and choose a different candidate based on stack ranking, as communicated to me.
Only (hugely) disappointingpart was poor as well as infrequent HR/Recruiter communication and goof-ups. It definitely made the difference in my case.
Also, It seems they just don't care about the organisation. 1) they are providing horrible experience to candidates 2) Also, I expect the, to transfer a deeply evaluated profile to other open vacancies/managers to speed up hiring (win:win). But they barely doing there current day tasks, forcefully; it's foolish to expect more from them; from candidates p.o.v. it may even seems inhuman. To conclude, overall good, especially team/tech-stack; I will happily apply and join, in future if feasible.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Akamai (San Francisco, CA) in Mar 2021
Interview
Got mail from Akamai recruiter, then first round with hiring manager, deep dive about my past projects, then next 6 rounds of interviews, each interview has 2-panel members. Overall I like the process. I did very well all rounds.
The bad thing was they never responded after the interview, I spend lots of time for the interview, it's a minimal courtesy to give updates about the final decision. I really regret attending the interview.

The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Akamai (New York, NY)
Interview
Initial phone interview then onsite. On-site started fine with the manger of the group. The panel interview is where it went off the rails. The panel was trying to flex on each other technically and were more focused on asking esoteric, irrelevant questions to humiliate rather than actually find candidates. I left the interview early, before the third face to face. I will certainly never interview there again and tell everyone to stay away.
