I applied online, filling out the form and answering the question. Within 24 hours I received an email inviting me to the online video interview. Very easy and slick process.
The video interview was a bit daunting at first as I had never done anything like that before. If I had any suggestions it would be to read the questions people post on here and spend a day preparing answers to them so you don't stammer away. I even recorded myself answering some of the questions to see where I was slipping up.
Questions were:
1. What does AS do?
2. What makes a successful professional services company?
3. How does a role with AS fit into your long term career goals?
4. Tell us about a recent news story and how it interested you?
5. What are you passionate about in a non-professional manner?

Question 1
What are you passionate about in a non-professional manner? Hadn't really prepared this so a few umms and ahhhs but relatively easy to answer all in all.
I applied for the Graduate Analyst position at London. The process lasted for around 1 month from contacted by hr to interview. I went through HR screening and user interview. The interview process was okay.
I applied online. I interviewed at AlphaSights (London, England) in Dec 2025
Interview
The interview was conducted online and lasted around 20 minutes. It was a one-to-one video interview with a hiring manager. The questions were mainly focused on my background, previous experience, and motivation for applying to the Graduate Analyst position. They also asked about my expected salary and availability. The atmosphere was professional but friendly, and the interview followed a structured format.
Good interview, asking primarily about characteristics and personal experiences. Very self-focused, with a lot of emphasis on personality rather than technical ability. Overall interviewers in both screening and first-round interviews were nice people and polite.
