Amedisys interview questions

Upon receiving a call for a telephone interview, I was immediately advised that the position had been filled. It would have been helpful to know this position had been filled beforehand as I carved time out of my busy day for a telephone interview. I suspect they had an internal candidate queued up to hire and needed to check some boxes of interviewing external candidates. Whatever the reason, not cool. I won't apply to this company again.

Submitted Resume, was contacted for a phone screening within 2 weeks, asked to take an open book test to prove coding knowledge, from there you would get an invite back to interview with a coding manager but I was not asked back.
