Applied online for part time baggage handling. Was contacted by a recruiter via phone and asked several questions regrading responses under pressure, how we viewed our past managers, how we responded to something when they asked us to do something we were not fond of, if being on time was important - duh! if we felt following procedures was important, etc. Asked to describe a stressful situation at last 2 jobs and what the circumstances were and how we responded, would anyone known we were stressed and what would indicate to them that we were stressed.
Then was sent email with several times available and was instructed to select a time by logging in and selecting available times. Interviewed with 3 other people in a conference room and each of us was asked again several personality related questions like how were responded under pressure, following procedures, what we would do if we were told by supervisor to do something you understood to be wrong and how we would handle the situation. Would we do the task, knowing it was wrong anyway, because it was a supervisor or would we confront them and refuse to do it. Would we go to the next level of supervision, etc. It appeared important not to have too much experience for entry level jobs because they do not feel you will stay if you are over qualified and training is timely and expensive. Having previous experience with other airlines was certainly a benefit, having experience in warehousing, forklift driving, etc would help for this position.
