When I was first contacted by AIL they informed me the position was for a manager. I asked the website so I could research their company and was told that when I do go onto the website, the career available, sales, was not the one I was wanted for, I was wanted for management. When I got there I realised they must not be picky because of the varied walk of life/age in the waiting room. I appreciate they dont discriminate against anything, but you get what I mean. I was privately interviewed for 5 minutes then told I have what it takes to make the second phase. After getting escorted to the next room I realized EVERYONE made it to the second phase. The PR chick was really nice of course then the manager came in bragging about how successful he is (for an HOUR and a HALF) and how much money we could all make while yes, informing us of how great the company is for the (union) public. Well, obviously I was called and asked back for phase 3, so after that I decided to do my research. This is what I found: 100% commission, 1099, you need your license so that costs around $250 plus 2 weeks UNPAID training to get it. Then you get another few weeks UNPAID training to actually work. Wait, did I mention it is NOT managing, youre a sales agent who is told to build a team, then make money off that team, like a pyramid scam pretty much, and THAT is what they call their off of "management position." You'll bleed gas regardless of how they tell you you wont, they offer $975 bonus upon start up but really if you're unpaid for a month, AND have to pay for all the licensing fees, who can live a month off $500? They say they give you X amount of leads but dont tell you they are already used and up to 2 years old = crap. BUT their leads have a cap, after you use what they offer you, you're on you're own solely based off referrals. Then at that point you have to spend all your "free" time scheduling all your own appointments around other peoples schedule in order to make money. You will work 7am-Midnight, every night/day. If you have a family, you will never see them or have time for them, say goodbye to your boyfriend/girlfriend or husband or wife.
