I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at American Income Life (Lansing, MI) in Feb 2015
Interview
I was cold called by someone asking if I was still interested in full time work. I naturally said yes and asked questions as to what the company was and how I could get more information - asking him to REPEAT the name of company TWICE before he said it clearly enough to understand. Even then, all I got was a name "Zachary Heart." I am interested in work so I scheduled an interview since he said they had 'gone over my resume' and went for more research. It took about 15 minutes of searching online before I found that Zachary Heart owned the Michigan Branch of American Income Life and that I was going into an interview for insurance sales.
I was not impressed up to this point.
The interview was scheduled for 9am and there were about 12 of us in a conference room that was permanently set up for these 'interviews.' We filled out a personality from and they gave us an hour long presentation about what they did, how much money you can make, and why what they did was an extremely valuable service to the community.
At the end, we finished up the personality profiles and handed them in stating if we thought it was going to be a good fit for us or not.
I was asked to come back for the second interview. I was 2 of the 12 people he (branch manager Steve Kind) invited back for round 2. He broke down how the pay and everything would work, and that it was long hours with long driving times. He sensed my hesitation about the 60-70hr work week and asked my to talk it over with my support system over the weekend before making a decision.
It wasn't for me, but he did call on Monday as promised.
TL;DR
Cold call scheduled an interview that was actually a presentation/personality test. If you are willing to work 60/70 hours a week and have little to no outside life, this could be lucrative. For success in the interview, talk about wanting money and that you need money.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Do you like Money? Is your support system behind this? Do you have a reliable car and a laptop that runs Microsoft? Can you work 70 hours a week?
The interview went well, I'm just looking for insight on what I'll be walking into starting this job. I had to add a review to be able to see others reviews, I will update as soon as I start.

Question 1
The interview questions are the basic questions like past employment, hours willing to work, just stuff like that.
I applied online. I interviewed at American Income Life (Bluffdale, UT)
Interview
Virtual group interview with about 11 people. They gave a breakdown of what would be required (An insurance license) and what we could expect. There is no base salary and each sale is estimated to average $500

Question 1
can you register for the licensing course today or tomorrow
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at American Income Life (San Francisco, CA) in Nov 2023
Interview
Process was disjointed and inconclusive. Zoom - 3 total. 1st- basic meet-greet. 2nd- a company promo video you watch alone mostly about an annual convention in a tropical location: nothing specific about the job. 3rd- "Host is in another meeting," waited 20 mins and left, so it never happened.

Question 1
There wasn't a real interview. Never got to find out about the agency or the actual position. If it's that disorganized and disrespectful from the get-go, I want nothing to do with it.
