I applied online. I interviewed at American Red Cross (San Diego, CA)
Interview
Phone interview and in person interview. Very basic phone interview where the interviewer checks to see what your knowledge is about Red Cross, information on the position, and basic strengths and weaknesses questions. When you pass the phone interview then there is a 1:1 interview with management and it was basically the same interview questions as it was on the phone
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at American Red Cross (Plano, TX) in May 2026
Interview
It was more about how you handle difficult situations/people. Different scenarios on how you respond and what steps you take to handle it and what was the outcome. Not really general interview questions.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Explain a time you solved a problem while everyone could not. How did you handle it?
easy and short, seemed like they were in a rush and wanted the process to end. They were friendly but there was alot going on. Gave me a tour and asked general questions.
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at American Red Cross in Oct 2024
Interview
The interview was smooth, it was about a 15 minute interview. Correspondence on their side can be wobbly; they go through a recruiter before meeting with the center manager. I didn’t accept my offer and told the hiring recruiter, but no one else, so they kept trying to reach out to me to establish a start day.
