I applied through university. I interviewed at Amica Insurance (Austin, TX) in Sept 2016
Interview
Didn't make it past the first round, but asked pretty basic interview questions. Emphasized their company culture and how they want you to not be afraid of asking questions. Company is like a family. They want someone that is a people person. Interview was basically like a conversation rather than straight forward questions and answers.
I applied online. I interviewed at Amica Insurance (Lincoln, RI) in May 2023
Interview
I proceeded with an online interview, phone interview, and an in-person interview. They seemed interested in hiring me until I noted that I have a disability. The moment I told them that, the energy in the room changed. The same day they emailed me saying that that were no longer interested in proceeding my interview process.

I received and e-mail inviting me to complete a video interview within 48 hours. I completed the interview timely. I then received another e-mail requesting I complete an online application( I had already applied initially and provided my application and resume. I completed it as requested. I then received another e-mail asking for a writing sample within 48 hours. At this point I decided not to go any further. I felt that it was very impersonal and a lot to request for an entry level position. Before even having an opportunity to speak with a person. It is very one-sided.
