Worst experience overall. First of all, the recruitment team didn't bother to brief about the company, job role or job responsibilities. A 30 min call was scheduled which I presumed to be alignment call to get to know the role and responsibilities and if they are aligned to the skills I have. It turned out to be first round of technical discussion. The interviewer switched off the video after the initial 10 minutes and I could hear he was having food. If you cannot remain focused for a 30 min discussion with a 18+ year experienced candidate, you better shouldn't schedule such interviews. Secondly, the interviewer was asking very vague questions and did not seem interested in understanding my skill set but was more focused on showing off his knowledge. The call ended in 20 mins and these 20 mins were very frustrating. Don't treat your candidates as scums. I have been Hiring Manager myself and I know how tough it is to find the right candidates. If you don't spend enough time with candidates, you won't find the right fit.
