I had to audition on the saxophone in front of 3 sergeants in the Band and score at least a 2.6 out of 4.0. I also had to have an interview with my recruiter and the leader of the band and take the ASVAB. I went to MEPS in Petersburg, VA to take the ASVAB and also to go through a full physical and drug test. We were up at 4 in the morning to get us used to the military lifestyle.
