My experience with the application process is as follows, with some time passing between each step as I was evaluated before being moved forward in the process. 1. Initial application accepted 2. Slack chat with Automattic recruiter 3. Technical questions I needed to answer 4. Slack chat with possible trial lead 5. Trial! 6. Final slack chat with trial lead, wrapping up my experience. 7. Question 1
How do you work in a fully remote environment? How do you give and receive feedback? How do you approach providing support for large websites?
The process takes 7-14 days, which seems fairly simple and acceptable. Not much feedback is given by the staff though and they could improve in those regards. Also, if you are rejected no additional feedback is provided, only a generic message, which is kinda disappointing.
