I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Avanade (Frankfurt am Main)
Interview
There were 4 steps. I applied online and one employee referred me to Avanade Talent Community.
1- 10 min Phone call with HR: To see which position I want
2- 30 min Phone call with HR: Salary expectation, which location I want as home base and classic HR questions.
3- 60 min technical video call with a manager: Background check. I was asked technical questions to understand my level and abilities. Also talked about why I want this job and what I want for my future. General sector and technology conversation too.
4- 90 min face to face group meeting with a manager and a HR: It should be generally HR questions but it went all about technical questions. I needed to answer again what I answered just one step before. The manager was different at this point and it was like reading questions from laptop and asking to me. Even HR said at end of the meeting 'Did you expecting that much technical questions? I didn't.' and I said "I didn't either."
Generally I had positive experience. The HR who followed up all the process was very kind and helpful. At the last interview, I traveled to Germany from my country and they said they will pay the travel expenses, which is thoughtful. I thought I would have an offer because I believed I had passed the technical interview which was 3.step, however, at the end, they said I do not have technical background for this role and suggested to apply one year later. Usually at the last interview, company should look at the candidate's sector knowledge and personel analysis and his behaviors. Therefore, I think this last step was a waste of time. I needed to break my job for 3 days to go Germany. If they thought that I am not enough for technical knowledge, why they couldn't understand it at the 3rd step? Or is there a problem whit the manager who did 3rd step interview so the company does not believe his confirmation about my technical skills?

Question 1
What is the difference between data science and analytics? What is the difference between dashboard and report?
There was an initial phone call then there was an onsite interview. I applied through LinkedIn and also through an employee referral. The people were really nice - I get really nervous though so it was slightly hard for me.
