The whole interview process was good. The interviewer was co-operative & supportive. It was certainly a good interview round.

I was following Awign and their business for a long time and wanted to work with them. My chances were high as they use Ruby and I had good working experience in the same and startups. but it seems Data structure is above all for them to get the chance to work in Awign. Appeared for 2 rounds. 1st Round had a good way to start where the interviewer tells about himself and ask for an introduction from us. He was listening very patiently and asking the cross-questions on projects you are involved in followed by Algorithmic question, Ruby, ActiveRecord & SQL questions. 2nd round from it's first few seconds started with data structure and graph question. No introduction, no gentle and formal starting conversation. I even got confused if the call is from the expected company. It was DS question(s) which seems to be asked in Amazon, Google which I tried hard to code till the end of the 1-hour interview. I believe in startups there are many other aspects also the interviewer should look at rather than only data structure. There are many geeks who are involved in small/mid-size startup and they get married to web application development so much that doesn't able to follow up with DS skills. For all my startup enthusiasts friends preparing for Awign I would recommend prepare DS very well and then surely you would get into Amazon if not Awign. All the best.

A 15 minute telephonic conversation.. Very basic things.. Just be you.. Express yourself.. Ask them your doubts.. Tell them why you want to do this.. They basically want to know about your conversation skills.. And your persuasion powers
