I applied online. I interviewed at BD (Tempe, AZ) in Jan 2021
Interview
Spoke on the phone with the hiring manager for a few minutes as they were screening candidates they would want to have a longer more in depth interview with. The actual interview took place over microsoft teams and I spoke with a mix of potential team members and managers individually. The questions consisted mostly of standard behavioral questions. Then had a final discussion with the hiring manager again asking if I had any questions about the job or the interview itself. I received an offer a few weeks later.

Question 1
Tell me about a time your dealt with a difficult teammate.
The interview itself was okay, even though I was not shortlisted. However, the overall experience was really bad.
I reached the company 15 minutes earlier than the scheduled interview time, but no one attended to me. I was asked to wait at the security area for more than 30 minutes. Eventually, the recruiter texted me to inform me that the hiring manager was on medical leave.
They wanted to reschedule the interview first , but instead, another manager came down and conducted the interview after a total wait of 2 hours. I was really disappointed with the way the candidate experience was handled.
I followed up with the recruiter for an update, but there was no apology and they did not respond to my follow‑up message.

Interview
2 sets of interviews, 45 minutes each. Very friendly people, went in depth with my provided resume, asking questions about each experience. That was the bulk. More technical than cultural.

Question 1
Asked me to explain how the skills I listed aligned with the experiences I listed.
The interview was through teams, it was an efficient process, if you get an interview you should be prepared to answer relevant job questions as that is what they ask
