      Team Leader Interview

      6 Sept 2023
      Anonymous interview candidate
      New Delhi
      Declined offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Baazi Games (New Delhi) in Jan 2023

      Interview

The interview processes are outdated and time consuming. Interviewer themselves are confused and lost, there's lots gap. Better not interview for this company. It's lengthy and unclear. Takes forever to declare the results.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

What's that one thing you would regret about in your life? --- This is too personal and refused to answer this but the interviewer kept on asking to answer this. I was being forced. They could come with alternate questions as well.

      Team Lead Interview

      5 Sept 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Baazi Games in Sept 2024

      Interview

I interviewed for PokerBoss. Regrettably, it was an unpleasant and unprofessional encounter. The interviewer displayed a lack of respect throughout the interview. One particularly concerning statement he made was, "Indians are cheap developers with limited skills due to lack of growth opportunities. Companies hire in India primarily to reduce costs." Such remarks are not only insensitive but also perpetuate harmful stereotypes. Furthermore, the interviewer did not engage in any technical discussions or assessments during the interview. Instead, he merely inquired about my previous work experiences and then proceeded to inform me that I would only be considered for a backend developer role with testing. He also expressed reservations about my ability to lead a team, suggesting that the team members would possess superior skills and experience. Given the unprofessional and discriminatory nature of the interview, I made the decision to withdraw my candidacy. It is disheartening to encounter such behavior in a professional setting, where individuals should be judged based on their qualifications and abilities, rather than their nationality or perceived skill level.
