I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at BambooHR in Apr 2026
Interview
Disappointed…
I had a very positive initial call with a Talent Acquisition representative who reached out to me on LinkedIn. My profile and CV aligned well with the job description and their stated objectives. During the conversation, she expressed strong interest and said she would move me to the next stage, which would involve a call with her manager or the hiring manager, and possibly a face-to-face interview.
After a few days without feedback, I followed up and was told the process was still ongoing. However, a week later I received an automated rejection email on a Saturday stating they would not proceed with my application and would instead focus on candidates with experience in HCM solutions something I do not have, and that should discovered before get in touch with me.
My advice: reach out to candidates only when you’re confident they meet all key requirements, and avoid setting expectations about next steps unless there is real certainty.
It’s a shame, as I’m sure it’s a great company, but the experience was disappointing.
It was okay but the guys dont want to listen to you, they were in a rush and yet asking much questions. and then they try to make your answers invalid and suit what they want to hear
It was great! Even though I didn’t get an offer I overall had a great experience chatting with great people. They were very efficient throughout the entire process and didn’t leave me hanging for weeks.
