Interview
Applied to several openings over about 6 months, but I did not hear back. Finally, did a phone screener with an human resources rep. I came in and took an editing test. which was basic proofreading and comprehension of a publication. The test included Bluebook citation, lasted about an hour. Followed by an interview with the hiring manager and the department manager.

Interview
The process was fairly simple. I worked with a recruiter who informed me about the position and set up the interview. I interviewed with a managing editor and editorial director at the company. I also had to take and pass an editorial writing test.

Question 1
Not many questions -- basically they explained the job to me and showed me what I would be doing rather than asking questions.

Interview
Typical interview, followed by written test on a later date. This was a few years ago, but from what I've heard it's still the same process. The interview was pretty standard stuff, with a couple interviewers. The written test was (up to) 3 hours on a legal topic.
