Question 1
Typical interview questions were asked like, "Why Bose?" etc. in the final round of interviews I was asked some technical questions relating to my degree/experience.
I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Bose (Framingham, MA) in Aug 2023
Interview
Overall - very slow. I applied online, and was contacted by a recruiter after about 2 months. Screening went well, just basic information about the role and if my advertised skills would fit. Scheduled interview with the head of audio about a week after - also basic information about the role but he was looking for some technical understanding of the role. We ran out of time, so we scheduled a 2nd screening interview with another engineer to close out any questions. Did well enough to go into panel reviews. There was a total of 4 engineers to meet separately for 1 hour each. Each one was responsible for a certain aspect of the product (DSP expert, mechanical expert, spatial audio expert, speaker design expert). Each one focused on asking about their expertise based on what I wrote in my resume.
