The process started off great. I had two virtual interviews with the hiring manager. Then I had a virtual panel interview with two HRBPs followed by a virtual interview with a Managing Director. All rounds seemed to go well. The hiring manager left me a VM indicating things went well and mentioned one more MD interview as the last step. I provided the HM by phone and email with my availability. The HM never responded ever again. Ever! It’s been six weeks and I still have no clear understanding of how I went from being a finalist to being completely ghosted by such a senior level individual in TA. In this current environment, it’s inexcusable to not communicate something after that many rounds of interviews and for a senior role.
