I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Builders Insurance Group (Atlanta, GA) in Nov 2019
Interview
Interviewing with Builders Insurance Group was a pleasure. The initial phone screen was booked for 15 minutes and wound up being about 45 minutes, with Ann, the HR Coordinator. Ann's phone presence was highly professional and very pleasant. The phone screen provided some good insights into the position, the company and some of the challenges the position would manage.
The face-to-face interview ran about four hours, sitting with the SVP of Marketing and Underwriting for about an hour, then a Q&A with the outgoing occupant of the position, and finally with a two-part personality assessment that was in-depth and comprehensive. The SVP Marketing effectively provided a landscape overview and a high-level description of the vision for the position. He was very approachable and engaged in the interview process. The outgoing position occupant was also very approachable and engaged in the process. Both spoke highly of the company and it's direction, described current challenges for the position, and asked insightful questions on strategies and tactics needed.

I was invited back the following week for a few more interviews (with 4 more people). It was all very pleasant, and all of the people seemed very nice.
