I applied online. I interviewed at Burlington Stores
Interview
(Edgewater, NJ) I applied online and was able to schedule a phone interview. They did not call me so I called the store myself. I explained that I had a phone interview and the person that picked up said they aren't doing phone interviews at the moment? I tried to explain that I had a phone interview already and he interrupted me saying that they will call for interviews another time. I only said "oh okay-" and he just hung up. I got a call from them later that day but I wasn't able to answer. (Because I had chosen my phone interview to the time I was able to talk, genius.) I called the number back when I could and the Burlington rep told me to call back on Monday at 9AM. It was an unprofessional experience. The store employee/manager was rude to me for no reason. No wonder that store is a literal mess and barely has people working there.
The interview was mostly a one-on-one conversation and overall it was fairly simple. As long as your personality and work style align with the culture and expectations of that specific location, you should do just fine.

Interview
Polite and understanding. Very relaxed setting yet formal. Was given the job expectations and qualifications as well as general idea of how shift is handled. I felt accepted and involved the second I walked into the interview
