It's probably been about 2 years since I interviewed for a position here, but it's an interview I think about often. It was one of the worst experiences of my professional life. A recruiter contacted me to see if I had interest in a marketing position they had available. She explained the position, did a quick phone interview, and I was brought in for an interview. At the interview I found my self seated at a large conference table with SIX people seated across from me. For the life of me I can't imagine why they needed six people to interview me at once. As they proceeded to talk about the role, I realized that the role they were describing was completly different from the role described to me by the recruiter. Not only that, they described the role so poorly that to this day I have no idea what the role was. It was vaguley descibed as a marketing role, but basically sounded like you would be the middle man between departments? No clue. It reminded me of that scene in Office Space where the guy's job is to take something from one department and give it to another department. Needless to say, it was the worst interview of my life. I could not provide any good answers for them because I had no idea what I was interviewing for! It was a disaster. No surpirse, I was not hired.
