      Civil/Environmental Engineering Interview

      20 Jan 2016
      Anonymous employee
      Chicago, IL
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Burns & McDonnell (Chicago, IL) in Jan 2016

      Interview

There were two interviews. A video interview with 7 pre-recorded questions from Kansas City HR, then a phone interview with the team I may be working with at their regional office. The video interview allowed retries which was helpful if you mess up. The phone interview was more of a get to know you, and talk about what you have done recently. Not many behavioral questions in the phone interview, mostly figuring out what type of person you are based on recent accomplishments and experience on your resume.
