5 interviews total. really positive interview. helped me along the way. I was fairly new to the engineer word and wording somethings were beyond me. Even though they knew what i meant and helped me describe it technically.

Mostly take you at your word of current level of experience. Not overly difficult. Simple phone call process that maybe had 2 people involved besides myself. Mostly looking for warm bodies to fill roles as far as I can tell.

After having applied, interviewed, and missed out on a position previously I was contacted via email about a new and different position that CDW thought I may be interested in prior to finding it myself. It was a position that I was interested in and from there on things went quickly. I started with a brief interview with the recruiter, and from here things went to a phone interview with the hiring manager. This time was scheduled with advanced notice and an email confirmation of the exact time was also sent to me. The phone interview with the hiring manager was to the point and definitely looked for instances of how recent positions were directly related to the new position. The interview went well, so it was kept concise. I was informed that they would be bringing me in for a final in person interview. The final in person interview was scheduled to be three 30 minute interviews with different managers. What I ended up walking into was one interview with 4 managers. What normally might be a little disconcerting, as I had never done an interview like this, turned into a well-run and cordial chance to accurately portray myself to multiple people without having to repeat topics or answers. The questions were not per say difficult, but if you did not do any prep work for you interview they were questions that would show this. Things went well and I was offered the job quickly after and have had more than enough help in the onboarding and training experience, and am very happy to be a new CDW employee.
