I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at CIBC (Toronto, ON) in Jan 2011
Interview
I initially applies online. Later I got a phone screening interview followed by an in person interview. Finally I had an interview with the manager I would work with. All interviews focus on trying to find whether or not you are fit for the position. If you have the necessary skills, then you should be alright. Just prepare well by reading the job description and your own resume.
The CIBC Customer Service Representative (CSR) interview process generally takes an average of 16 to 20 days and involves multiple stages designed to assess your customer service aptitude, sales potential, and cultural fit.
Was smooth and warm. Nothing to add. Was more intro than grilling. From the beginning it was obvious that we clicked and interview was more conversational. Some tmat questions, some customer scenarios and checking loyalty issues.
