      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at CIBC (Mississauga, ON) in Jun 2026

      Interview

First of all the recruiter ghosted me the day of the first interview, she never came to the room or send an email, when I emailed her she came to the room and asked me for 30 more minutes and we had to re-schedule. I’m the interview with the Hiring manager he asked me for an screenshot of my scorecard in the company I am currently working, I explained I have no problem disclosing my performance, however the scorecard has internal data that I’m not allow to share, and he was very serious when told me that without seeing my scorecard he won’t be able to make a decision. In the other hand, I was asked for my current salary from the recruiter, and during the second interview the hiring manager told me they can not increase the salary and they are not looking into go to any negotiation as they have internal candidates and I will be doing the same as in my current role. I feel the entire process was kind of unethical, and showed a toxic environment. I ended sending an email to the recruiter withdrawing my application, if there is something that I have very clear now is that I don’t want to work for a company that doesn’t respect candidates.
