      Java Full Stack Developer Interview

      26 Jul 2020
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Bengaluru
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at CME Group (Bengaluru) in Jul 2020

      Interview

The opening was for their Clearing house team. I was really really interested(Just because of investment domain). I got call from the recruitment HR Malashree. She was very polite ad explained the whole process. There were supposed to be 3 technical rounds and 1 Managerial round. I gave my 1st round on webx call and interviewer was Ravi Verma. This interview went on for almost 1 hour 20 minutes. Throughout the interview this guy seemed sleepy. He used to ask questions and then it felt like he was taking a nap. I answered all the questions politely and correctly (I will explain below it as well). It felt like he was not at all ready AND prepared for the interview. It seemed he was googling the questions (sometimes) or trying to find the questions in my answer and then asking that(and then searching the answer for the same in google. e.g. He asked about my project architecture. I explained that my product front end is based on MVVM and it is connect through the backend which is based on MVC. Now, he asked what is MVVM ? I explained. Then he asked why to used special architecture just for UI if we have veiw in MVC? I explained that as well. (But my answer might not be word by word matching from Google search). He did not ask any deep level question (as told by HR). All the basic WH questions. (I was expecting some DS, Algo, problem , puzzle or something from memory management. But Alas! As I remember, I answered every single questions politely and correctly. I wrote the programming problem code 100% correct and even efficient. But I guess I interrupted in my interviewer's sleep 😂😂 . I could not made through this round.
