There was an auto-video interview, then a zoom call, then a 2nd zoom call, and then I received a decision from CNN. The process was really fine - the HireVue thing was fun.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Q: What news event have you been following closely?
it was a Hirevue, they asked typical interview questions like introduce yourself, what challenges have you faced, what's your news diet, etc. took only around 15 minutes to complete but I would do significant preparation.
Very thorough and detailed. There were three rounds of interview, and one of them was online. Then it came to in person interview. I struggled with the online because you have to record yourself and answer their questions with time limits.
I was instructed to undergo a virtual interview on Hireview. I have not heard back yet, but they asked basic questions like "tell us about yourself" and "why are you interested in this internship?"
