Asked to prepare and present 10 slides of current research summary for the PI and the lab to assess. Toured the lab with the PI two days later to meet with lab members, and received tour of campus and proteomics facility

Discuss objective of project, experience required, went over resume to make sure there was a match in skills and experience required. Casual, chatted about lab's published papers and that was about it. Getting the interview itself was probably the most difficult part
