      Associate Talent Program (ATP) Interview

      2 Mar 2021
      Anonymous interview candidate
      London, England
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Capco (London, England) in Jan 2021

      Interview

-online application with written questions -video interview -AC (virtual because of covid) - group case study, 1:1 competency based interviews The virtual AC was a bit chaotic. I was annoyed that some of our interviewers seemed to be working during the AC. Also, it was very obvious that they just wanted this to end and did not pay that much attention. They were just randomly picking questions from a prepared list on the spot. The group case study online is a really bad experience. 1-2 people dominate the conversation and the time is too short to do anything meaningful with the complex case given. I got a lots of industry knowledge, but it meant nothing because the others had no idea about it and did not listen.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that you felt there was a lack of engagement from our business assessors during our Virtual Assessment Center. We aim to provide a positive candidate journey and are sorry if this didn’t happen for you on this occasion. All of our assessors have gone through a training session and are experienced interviewers. We have addressed your comments internally to ensure our assessors are reminded of the importance of candidate engagement. In order for Capco to run these Virtual Assessment Centers we aim to provide preparation documentation for our assessors to ensure consistency in our interview process. Our Virtual Assessment Center has been designed for any candidate to showcase their ability in both a group and individual session on the evening. We’re sorry you didn’t have a positive experience during the group exercise. Given the fact our intakes are focused on entry level candidates, the focus of the assessors will lie on a candidate’s overall impact during the session. If you wish to receive further feedback on your application please reach out to Amanda.Asher@capco.com.

      Interview

Really smooth and well-organised process. Everyone I spoke with was genuinely kind and welcoming, which made it feel much less daunting than expected. The stages were clearly communicated and the team were great at keeping me informed throughout. Came away feeling really positive about the culture.

      Interview

Very efficient process, took around 1 month and 3 weeks to go through CV - group case - individual interview - offer. Group case is not standard consulting case interview, more close to "given a clear situation, bring out the best solution through teamwork". Individual interview is quite straightforward comptency/fit questions. Why capco, why you, walk me through you CV etc.
