I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at CareerBuilder (Chicago, IL)
Interview
There is an initial phone screen, followed up by a first in person interview with 2 hiring managers in which i had to do several mock sales calls, then another in person interview with the regional sales manager on a different date. Each lasted about 45 minutes to an hour.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at CareerBuilder (Chicago, IL) in Apr 2015
Interview
The interview was with a group of four managers. They ask you about experience, your sales philosophy, your past wins. They tell you about the position, which is a lot of cold calling. You then meet a sales rep and sit with him or her for a few calls. Then, they have you do mock cold calls. You need to be prepared because they're expecting you to be good. They'll also ask what you want your career path to be.
Interview process is standard other than the mock calls.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at CareerBuilder (Chicago, IL) in Oct 2014
Interview
This place is a joke, literally!!! I applied for a position. They contacted me for an interview. Now, I have had positions withe Fortune 500 companies and have conducted many interviews and you know after the first interview whether a candidate is a good fit or not. I was contacted for interviews with CB 4 times. I went for 4 interviews and a role playing assessment which the managers rated me on my phone skills a 9/10.
This oddysey of circus interviews began in October 2014. I was informed to reach out to them in January, which I did. They replied with the usual PC email of, "we found a better match". My question is, why the 4 interviews and assessment role play where the managers stated to me that I would be a great fit. What a joke!!!
