The first interview was a phone interview with the Director. For a 30 minute interview, she spoke 20 minutes of it and made me feel like I wasn't worthy of the position. I was very surprised when her assistant called back to setup an in person interview with the team. They arranged my flight and hotel arrangements.
When I flew out to Los Angeles and arrived at the hotel, they asked me for payment for the room as Cedars hadn't taken care of it. Fortunately, I have family in Los Angeles and opted to stay with them instead of pay $250 for one night.
The next day, I met with HR first to discuss benefits at Cedars, then was my barrage of interviews. The very first was a 30 minute interview with two of the leads from the team, this went very well. The next was scheduled with the entire team of 10 or more people in a conference room for an hour. Because the manager was in that interview, I didn't have to be subjected to another 30 minute interview which was to follow. It's an all day thing at Cedars, be prepared.
