I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Chanel (London, England)
Interview
I applied via a London based agency. First was an assessment centre with about 10 other candidates. Tasks included organising an event in groups (you had to organise what and where) and inviting 5 guests and explaining why you have chosen them, then a role play of your service in a boutique taking it in turns to be both client and SA. Next stage was an interview with the boutique manager with very standard interview questions - about yourself, the brand and selling.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Chanel (Paris) in Feb 2018
Interview
I applied on line for the internship, I immediately got an email for the first online interview, then I made the second group interview whitch was with group of students, we are being questioned by the hr and manager in a group of 2 people.

I have applied via an awesome agency focusing on luxury retails brands called Elite Associates - thanks to them I secured interview - first round with Chanel HR Manager and second round afterwards with the Boutique Manager at Sloane Street, which is were I was then hired at. I was also lucky as they needed staff to start immediately.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Why you want to work for Chanel? Why are you leaving current job? Experience in luxury retail?
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Chanel (Manchester City Centre, England) in Jun 2017
Interview
An unnecessarily long interview process drawn out over a period of months. Little to no communication during the entire time. Shoddy organisation of interview locations and an unrealistic group interview that gave almost no opportunity for individuals to express themselves.
