I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Chipotle (Silver Spring, MD) in May 2013
Interview
The store manager called me and asked if I was still interested in the job. I met up with him and he wanted to know what i wanted to do in life, my ambitions, my goals. Why I would make a good asset to the team. I got a 2nd call in about a week and he told me to go to another store for another interview which was 2 hours away (on the bus) . I got there and got hired, but also had to come back to be processed. I was working by the next week.
Asked questions about what positions work best for you, why you want to work there, what makes you a good fit there, where you see yourself in 5 years. Very simple and open to answer any questions I had
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2026
Interview
Very brief, was only asked a few questions. I felt a decision about not hiring me was made before the interviewer even sat down. I suspect the interviewer was not accustomed to interviewing and may actually only standing in for a manager that was not working that day
The interview process included an application, attending a brief in-person interview, answering questions about teamwork, availability, customer service, and attitude, and was sometimes followed by a same-day or quick hiring decision.
