I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Chipotle (Mansfield, MA) in Apr 2014
Interview
I applied online and received an email the next day asking me to come in for an interview that week. I came in for the interview and had to wait 30 minutes because the manager on that day was never told by the other manager that I was coming in (even though they were the ones who scheduled the interview specifically at that time in the email). I had a group interview with one other girl and after that interview the manager told us both to come in for a second interview a few days later.
The second interview was just me and the other manager, and it went really well and she definitely made me think that I would get the job. I also have almost 2 years of experience working with food and made sure I knew a lot about the company, acted extremely outgoing and energetic, and basically i think i was a pretty ideal candidate. After that second interview, I received a call to come in for a THIRD interview, which I agreed to. For the third interview, I was brought to a table with 2 recruiters and the manager. So, it was a 3 on 1 interview. Seemed pretty intense for fast food? It went really well, all three of them were asking me tons of in depth questions about my work experience and why I wanted to work at chipotle. They even brought me in to the kitchen after to show me around. They then told me they'd be in touch, and I optimistically waited for what felt like a pretty definite job offer.
But then I got an email today saying they are unable to offer me a job at this time. I'm extremely disappointed because I gave up so much of my time to comply to their demands and go through a pretty hellish interview process for a fast food job. Every single time I had an interview I had to wait at least 15 minutes after the time they told me to arrive. Also, it just seemed like the staff was disorganized. Also note that this process of 3 interviews took about a month.
Asked questions about what positions work best for you, why you want to work there, what makes you a good fit there, where you see yourself in 5 years. Very simple and open to answer any questions I had
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2026
Interview
Very brief, was only asked a few questions. I felt a decision about not hiring me was made before the interviewer even sat down. I suspect the interviewer was not accustomed to interviewing and may actually only standing in for a manager that was not working that day
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (West Hartford, CT) in May 2026
Interview
I scheduled an interview, but when I arrived the first time the manager was not there, so I had to reschedule. At the second interview, I waited about 10–15 minutes before the manager was ready. The interview itself was short, around 10 minutes, and mostly consisted of behavioral questions read from a sheet. Overall, the process felt disorganized and not very personal, but the questions were straightforward.
