I applied online. I interviewed at Cintas (London, ON) in Jan 2017
Interview
First had a quick 10 minute phone interview asking all the normal questions and then was invited in for a interview. I arrived and there were two people interviewing me. Both seemed polite and nice. Interview went well and I asked if I would be contacted either way regarding this opportunity. ( whether selected or not) I was told i would be contacted at the beginning of the week. My interview was on a friday, so i waited until a full week passed and still didn't get any type of call or email. The following monday, I phoned the HR representative whom i did the phone interview with. She was not available so I was told that they would send her an email to contact me. 3 weeks later and i never received any form of contact. I found this very unprofessional as I was told I would, and even took the initiative to try and find out myself. They couldn't take the two minutes to phone me to tell me I was unsuccessfull like they stated I would.
It doesn't take much to follow through on what you tell potential employees. Very unprofessional.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Name a time when you had to tell a supervisor you've made a mistake and explain.
I got through phone and in person interviews, and then did a ride along, for which you are paid $80 and receive at the end of the next month. I contacted them three days after ride along, and they called me back a few hours later to tell me I didn't get the position. The job had reposted in the time between my ride along and my contacting them.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Cintas (Fort Lauderdale, FL) in Aug 2020
Interview
3 Part interview. Had a preliminary interview with HR who asked very general questions such as work history and etc. Had a second interview with a manager who asked very job-specific questions. 3rd part was a ride-along with a current employee.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Cintas in Apr 2017
Interview
I did not initially apply for this position, a recruiter contacted me and offered me a phone interview. After my phone interview I went in for a face to face interview. The Service Manager and Catalogue Manager interviewed me for approx 60mins. They were very friendly and professional. I lost interest in the company shortly into my interview, everything they asked seemed to be questionnaires from a company interview handbook. I wasn't interested taking broad questions and being asked to answer in detail.
Cintas seems like a great place to build up your career, maybe not the best place for someone to transition as Cintas seems to have a particular breed they want working for them.
